Round 13 MVP - Prakhar Sharma

Prak opened up his wickets tally in Second Grade with a tidy 5fa!

He took a brilliant 5/25 (10.0) on Saturday to help bowl out Sydney for 187 and get 2’s the win!

Round 12 MVP - Jordan Gauci

Jordan led the way in First Grade, posting a well constructed 156 (292)!

He spent 92 overs out in the middle, guiding his side to the strong total of 3/363d which set up a convincing Day 2 win!

He cracked 19 boundaries on his way to 156, and was part of a huge 230 run opening partnership with Don Butchart!

Round 11 MVP - Andrew Hazard

Andrew had a great game with both bat and ball which led to a convincing victory for our Second Grade side!

On Day 1, he top scored with a patient 42 (119) which helped give his side a competitve total to bowl at!

The he backed this up on Day 2, taking an outstanding 7/40 (20.0)!

A brilliant effort from Haz which got 2s the win and keeps them in the finals race!

Round 10 MVP - Don Butchart

Don’s 103* (144) was a standout performance on Saturday!

He played a well constructed innings. Controlled in the beginning and explosive at the end!

He hit four 4s and two 6s on his way to an unbeaten 103*!

Well batted Don!

Round 9 MVP - Ryan McElduff

With an original target of 175, Ryan came to the crease with the score at 3/18.

He paced his innings well, putting on an 84 run partnership with Jordan Gauci for the 4th wicket!

Ryan’s 53 runs off 50 balls helped First Grade get to their revised target and bring home the W!

Well batted Ryan!

Round 8 MVP - Arnav Yadav

Arnav was instrumental in Metro Gold’s win on Sunday!

His 6/17 from 7.1 overs helped dismiss Penrith for 89 in what was a convincing win!

Great stuff from one of our young spinners!

Round 7 MVP - Jack Bray

Jack had a great game for Metro Gold on Sunday with both bat and ball!

He hit 8 x 4s and 3 x 6s on his to 62 runs in the first innnings!

He backed this up by taking 4/37 off 9.3 overs in the second innings!

A great effort from one of our young up and coming players!

Round 6 MVP - Max Hope

Coming to the crease on Day 1 with the score at 5/119, Max hit 117 (147) and got 2’s to their winning total of 295!

During his innings he hit 15 x 4s and 2 x 6s with shots all around the ground!

Well batted Max!

Round 5 MVP - Pranav Kalia

Coming in with the score at 2/45, Pranav hit 137 runs to give Metro Blue a first innings lead!

He helped take the total to 5/258dec thanks to a massive 188 run partnership with Ben Wright-Smith!

He also took a handy 2/19 off 5 overs in Blacktown’s second innings!

Round 4 MVP - Cooper Jones

Our Fifth Grade side took a first innings lead on Satuday and sent Western Suburbs back in.

Cooper came on to bowl and took 7/31 off 15 overs in the second innings which helped restrict Western Suburbs to 79 and led to Fifth Grade’s convincing outright win!

If that wasn’t enough, Cooper follwed this up with 4/45 off 11 overs in Metro Gold’s win on Sunday!

Round 3 MVP - Ryan Danne

Coming in at No. 4, Ryan’s 198 ball stay at the crease saw him hit a brilliant 143 runs for the students!

Het hit 14 fours to go with his 2 bombs over the rope and helped set up Second Grade’s convincing win!

Round 2 MVP - Devlin Malone

Dev’s 6 wickets on Day 1 helped restrict UNSW to 163 which put our First Grade side in a very strong position heading into Day 2.

Hard to go past this performance for MVP, well bowled Dev!

Larko kicked off his season for the students in style.

His classy 52 runs from 69 balls helped set up First Grade’s bonus point win!

A great start for both Nick and our 1s side!

A knock that put the 2s in the finals!
Gordon’s 1st…sorry 2nd Grade side set a 238 run total.
Charles Litchfield came in and smacked them to all areas of University Oval.
A perfectly timed century from Litchy as we head into the finals.

The skipper played his cards perfectly on Saturday!

His quick fire century put the 1st Grade fellas into a good position.
His quick thinking led to a declaration. Asking Bankstown to chase 292 in 67 overs.
His quick hands took 5 catches including the catch to win the fixture🙉

St George 3rd Grade were sitting pretty at 1/186 chasing the student’s 264 … then Luka struck ⚡️
As well as taking the wicket of both openers, Flanno took batter 3 & 4. This power play put a stop to any St George momentum and resulted in a 23 run win!

A match-winning 74* from Alex means the Metro Gold team sit comfortably in second!
