Alex Shaw is well-deserving of being named Surjit's Player of the Round in Round 7 of the NSW McDonald's Premier Cricket Competition, making his maiden century and highest score of 119 runs during 3rd Grade's match against Northern District. This brings Alex to a total of 223 runs for the 2017-18 season so far.

Lewis has generously put in a huge effort at No.1 Oval to help out 1st and 2nd Grade each week including match day logistics and assistance with the canteen. Lewis also kindly led the Saturday morning kid's program over the last few weeks in Dale's absence.
